Isn't it surprising how we forget how big our God is. He is the all powerful, magnificent, awesome, Creator of the Universe. And we approach Him and talk to Him as though He were a finite human being. He is infinte, He knows the beginning from the end and still He desires a relationship with me. How humbling is that!
He created the Universe with all the millions of stars and galaxies but He chose only to put human beings on Earth. He breathed His very breath into each person. And His very breath put the stars where they are. His Word formed all the heavens and the earth. That just shows how amazing He is!
When we realise how big God is, we will also realise how insufficient we are. I pray that the Lord would increase my perception of how great He is. This omnipotent, magnificent God wants to know me. He wants to know you; He wants to know all of us! May the realisation of the awesomeness of our God fill me with a shrinking feeling; a healthy shrinking feeling which humbles me and makes me appreciate His grace all the more!
Check out these videos. This changed my life. His name is Louie Giglio and He talks about how great God is and how it's written all creation!

As Summer of Service Draws To An End...
It's been a great summer! I don't think I could've learnt the lessons I learnt this summer in any other way. I love how the Lord knows exactly what I need and how I need to learn it.
It's been a great summer of service. Learning how to be a servant can be one of the most painful but important lessons of life. It's so painful because it goes against everything human in me. It goes against all my pride which my flesh enjoys rejoicing in. A famous missionary once said, "You will know you are being a true servant if you are being treated like one." And I competely agree with that. It is an important lesson to learn because it teaches me to die to myself and put others before myself. Galatians 2:20 has become my life verse really because it is no longer I who lives but Christ in me and if Christ is in me then He is living through me therefore in everthing I do and say I should reflect Christ. And Christ was the ultimate example of a servant and I therefore look to Him to mould and shape my heart to be a servant.
I truly thank the Lord for allowing me this opportunity to serve Him and His people, it's been an absolute honour and priviledge. I pray that He would continue to create in me a clean heart and continue to awaken my heart to serve Him!
