The Lord knows

I love how the Lord always knows exactly what I need and He provides exactly when I need it. It's such a beautiful concept knowing that God cares enough to be aware of my needs but not only aware, He's always willing to provide for that need. I think often I don't trust in God's willingness to do something. I have faith that He might but I don't only fully believe that He will do it willingly. And that is why I often pray, Lord I believe but help my unbelief.
This week the Lord met a need that I've had for a while and it's been such a blessing! I love it! I love that Lord! It truly has been a faith builder seeing the Lord provide a need that I had but I don't even think I voiced it to Him. He is so aware of my needs that He satisfies them even when I don't tell Him what they are. He sees right into the depths of my heart, He understands parts of me I don't understand and that is why I can fully love and trust Him with ALL my heart. My heart belongs to you Lord and I ask that you would continue to search it and show me all that is within me. Show me more who You are and in turn who I am in You.

Outreach week has begun.... exciting stuff! I'll be in York till Thursday then I'm off to London. I'm super excited just because I know it will be a sweet time of outreach, service and fellowship! I appreciate all your prayers for all the street witnessing and the hearts of the people there.
Oh and I'm a whole year older now... I'm 23 now... getting to be an old lady! But I truly praise the Lord for all His amazing blessings over the past 23 years. I had an amazing birthday and I'm glad I could share it with so many amazing brothers and sisters. And I'm just so thankful for the opportunity I have to be loved by Him! His love is so amazing! I'm so blessed to be loved by the King of kings!

My Rock

"But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."
There are so many things in this life that try to move us. Depression, sorrow, jobs, school, trials, warfare, finances, friends, family... the list is endless. But what did Paul mean when he said that none of these things (imprisonment, trials and tribulations) moved him? When we come to Jesus, we come to the Rock. He is steadfast, immoveable, unchangeable and everlasting. He becomes the Rock upon which we stand in this life. He becomes our Solidity, our Foundation, our Never-Changing Source of Security and our Faithful and Relibale Companion. And because He is all that and more to us, we are not moved when life's waves come and try to move us from our Rock. Paul knew Jesus was his Rock and because of that knowledge he could face anything and later even call it a "light affliction". Paul though nothing of himself because he knew that without The Rock he was nothing and he would simply be tossed to and from by life's waves. Everything Paul was, he was because of Jesus. Everything I am, I am because of Jesus my Rock.
Recently life's waves have been crashing against me quite a bit and it's just a great reminder to know that I don't face anything alone but that my God is with me and He's got it all under control. Thank you Jesus for being my Rock. "The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted!"
Lord please help me not to count my life dear to myself but to be completely abandoned to You and the ministry that You have given me. And may I not be moved because I know You are the Solid Rock on which I stand!
